The 97-3106A-18(0850) is a straight plug from the Amphenol 97 Series of standard cylindrical connectors, designed for general duty applications requiring solder termination. This medium-weight connector features a durable, field-proven design with a size 18 shell made from high-grade aluminum alloy with threaded coupling. It has a solid backshell threaded for standard 1-20 fittings and uses single key/keyway polarization for proper alignment. The standard configuration includes silver-plated solder contacts and hard diallyl-phthalate inserts, rated for an operating temperature range of –55°C to +125°C. As a cost-effective and reliable solution, it is widely used in automotive, robotics, and machine tool applications and is intermateable with other 97 Series and SAE AS50151 connectors.
