The 2212C-SL002 is a two-pair shielded twisted-pair communication cable designed for low-voltage signal transmission in industrial and commercial applications. It features 22 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/30 stranding) with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, twisted at 8.0 twists/foot minimum per pair and 4.8 twists/foot minimum for the overall cable assembly. The cable incorporates an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 25% overlap and a 22 AWG tinned copper drain wire, jacketed with 0.032" nominal PVC in slate color. Electrically, it is rated for 150 V RMS with a characteristic impedance of 48 O, mutual capacitance of 44 pF/ft, and conductor DC resistance of 16.5 O/1000 ft at 20°C. The cable operates from -20°C to +80°C, supports a maximum pull tension of 27 lbs, and maintains a bend radius of 10× cable diameter.
