The MC74HC138ADG is a 1-of-8 decoder/demultiplexer designed to decode a three-bit address to one of eight active-low outputs. This high-performance silicon-gate CMOS device operates over a wide voltage range of 2.0 V to 6.0 V and features a low input current of 1.0 µA. It includes three chip select inputs (two active-low, one active-high) to facilitate cascading and demultiplexing functions, and its outputs can directly interface with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL logic.
