The KSZ9897STXI-TR is a highly-integrated, 7-port Layer-2 managed Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for robust networking. It incorporates five 10/100/1000BASE-T physical layer transceivers (PHYs), one port with an SGMII interface, and one port with a configurable RGMII/MII/RMII interface for direct connection to a host processor. The device features a non-blocking wire-speed Ethernet switching fabric, a 4096-entry forwarding table, and a 256kByte frame buffer to ensure fast packet delivery. It supports advanced features including full VLAN and QoS support, IEEE 802.1X access control, jumbo packets up to 9000 bytes, and flexible management via SPI, I2C, or in-band interfaces. Supporting an industrial temperature range, this switch is ideal for applications like industrial control, automation, and security systems.
