SDS001RULC is a side-actuated detect switch designed for low-profile, space-constrained applications requiring minimal actuation force. The switch features a low profile package that sits just 2 mm from the PCB with 2 mm overtravel, making it ideal for detector applications in medical devices, consumer electronics, and IoT devices. It offers ultra-low current capabilities with a minimum current rating of 10 µA @ 1.8 VDC for the ULC version, combined with a standard contact rating of 100 mA @ 12 VDC. The switch delivers 50,000 cycles of mechanical and electrical life with a maximum contact resistance of 100 mO and operates reliably across -40°C to 85°C. Its low actuation force of 75 grams maximum, pick-and-place compatibility, and tape-and-reel packaging make it well-suited for automated assembly in medical, consumer, and industrial applications.
