The HBL24W47 is a Twist-Lock® Elastogrip® plug rated for 15A at 125V with 2-pole, 3-wire grounding (NEMA L5-15P) and 0.5 HP capacity. It features an integral weatherproofing shroud that seals the connection between plug and connector, combined with a nylon compression nut that prevents water and dust ingress around the cord. The plug accommodates stranded copper wire from #18 AWG to #10 AWG, with a cable clamp designed for cord diameters from 0.300" to 0.655" (7.6–16.6 mm), and is constructed with brass blades and terminal screws for reliable electrical contact. It withstands a minimum dielectric voltage of 2,000V and operates continuously at temperatures up to 75°C (minimum -40°C without impact), with IP20 moisture resistance rating and HB or better flammability per UL 94/CSA standards. This plug is ideal for outdoor and wet-location applications requiring secure, weatherproof power connections in industrial, commercial, and residential settings.
