Snap Action Switches, also known as micro switches, are switch devices that are used to open or close an electrical circuit at a rapid speed. These highly sensitive switches are very often used in irrigation systems, semi-trailer trucks, timing devices, office equipment, test instruments, medical and dental equipment, HVAC systems, valves, and manually operated devices, among others.

BZ-2RN702 Snap Action Switch from Honeywell is a standard "Large Basic" micro switch. The current rating of this Honeywell Snap Action Switch ranges from 15 A to 25 A. It comes with a choice of actuation, termination, and operating characteristics to provide design flexibility. With an elongated mounting hole, this Plunger Switch enables more accurate and easier mounting.
