The 1550DBK is a rugged diecast aluminum electronic instrument enclosure from the 1550 Series, featuring a textured black powder coat finish with enhanced durability. It measures 114.5 mm in length, 64 mm in width, and 55 mm in height (including the 4 mm lid), providing a compact form factor suitable for various electronic applications. The enclosure is constructed with diecast aluminum that is tough yet easy to machine, and incorporates lap joint construction for protection against dust and splashing water, with improved EMI/RFI shielding capabilities. It is designed to meet IP54 without a gasket or IP66 with an optional gasket, with IP67 upgraded gaskets available for enhanced water-tightness. The enclosure features no internal ribs for easy installation of connectors without interference, a low side wall draft angle for simplified PC board mounting, and is secured with M3.5 x 0.6 x 12 mm stainless steel Phillips head machine screws.
