The 62A01-01-P is a 1/2" package optical encoder manufactured by Grayhill, designed to provide rotational position feedback with quadrature 2-bit code output and an optional shaft-actuated pushbutton switch. It operates at 5.0±0.25 Vdc with a maximum supply current of 30 mA, featuring push-pull outputs compatible with CMOS, TTL, and HMOS logic levels. The encoder uses optically-coupled phototransistor and infrared emitter technology for reliable operation over more than one million cycles, with logic output characteristics including a minimum logic high voltage of 4.5 Vdc and maximum logic low voltage of 0.5 Vdc.
