FTP-68EMCL001 is an 8-inch ultra-compact 24V thermal printer designed for high-speed printing applications. It features a thermal-line dot method with 1728 dots per line (1696 effective dots) and a horizontal dot pitch of 0.125 mm (8 dots/mm), delivering a maximum printing speed of 80 mm/sec. The printer incorporates a unique platen removal design for easy paper loading and maintenance, with a rugged metal frame providing excellent ESD performance, shock/vibration resistance, and integrated heat-sink for continuous printing operation. The device operates with 24V ±10% power supply for the print head and motor, supports paper widths of 210–216 mm, and includes paper detection via photo sensor and head temperature detection via thermistor. This printer is well-suited for test and measurement equipment, informational kiosks, ticket issuing terminals, label printers, and medical equipment applications.
