FMAD1245 is an SMA male to SMA male RF adapter with a passivated stainless steel body designed for microwave and millimeter-wave applications. The adapter features a frequency range from DC to 26.5 GHz with excellent VSWR of 1.2:1 maximum and insertion loss of 0.21 dB maximum, providing reliable signal transmission across the operating band. The connector contacts are brass with gold over nickel plating (4 µin. minimum), and the insulation material is PTFE, ensuring durability and consistent electrical performance. The adapter operates at AC voltages up to 500 Vrms with a dielectric withstand voltage of 1,500 Vrms and maintains an insulation resistance of 5,000 MOhms minimum. This adapter is ideal for general-purpose RF test applications, equipment protection during frequent connect/disconnect cycles, and serves as a connector saver to extend the life of expensive RF equipment.
