FMAD1185 is an SMA female to SMA female RF adapter with a passivated stainless steel body designed for microwave and RF applications. The adapter features a straight body geometry with 50 Ohm impedance and operates across a frequency range from DC to 18 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.25:1. The connector contacts are made of beryllium copper with gold over nickel plating per MIL-G-45204, and the insulation material is PTFE, ensuring excellent electrical performance and durability. The adapter meets MIL-STD-348 interface specifications and employs epoxy captivation for secure contact retention. With an operating temperature range of -65°C to +165°C and a compact form factor (0.5 in length, 0.25 in width), the FMAD1185 is ideal for general-purpose test applications, connector protection on expensive equipment, and high-cycle connection scenarios where connector savers are needed.
