The VIR50 is a dual laser video infrared thermometer designed for non-contact temperature measurement with integrated thermal imaging capabilities. It features a 2.2" color TFT LCD display (320 x 240 pixels) and a built-in 640 x 480 camera that captures both images (JPEG) and video (3GP) for PC analysis. The dual laser system converges at 50° (127 cm) distance to identify a 1" target spot, with a 50:1 field of view ratio and fast 150 millisecond response time. The device measures infrared temperatures from -58 to 3992°F (-50 to 2200°C) with basic accuracy of ±(1% of reading + 4°F/2°C), adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00, and includes Type K thermocouple input for contact measurements up to 2498°F (1370°C). Additional features include air temperature and relative humidity measurement (0 to 100% RH), MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF functions, adjustable high/low alarms, trigger lock for continuous readings, and microSD card storage.
