PTS181216V050 is a PolyTron™ surface mount PTC (positive temperature coefficient) device designed for overcurrent and overtemperature protection in 6–60 volt DC applications. This 1812-format device features a maximum voltage rating of 16 Vdc, a holding current of 0.50 A at 23°C, and a trip current of 1.00 A, with fast time-to-trip characteristics and low initial resistance of 0.15 O. The device is halogen-free, lead-free, and RoHS 2002/95/EC compliant, with cUrus and TUV agency recognition.
