MOVTP20V150N is a thermally protected through-hole metal oxide varistor combining a metal oxide varistor with an integrated thermal fuse that opens as an open circuit upon end of life. This 20 mm disc-sized component is rated for 150 Vac (200 Vdc) working voltage with a varistor voltage of 216 V minimum at 1 mAdc and 264 V maximum, providing clamping voltage of 395 V at 100 A (2/20 µs). The device delivers 170 J energy absorption (10/1000 µs), 1 A rated power, and a peak current rating of 10,000 A (8/20 µs), with impulse response time less than 25 ms and leakage current of 20 µA maximum at 75% V1. Operating over -40°C to +105°C without derating and featuring tin-plated leads, this component is UL 1449 compliant and ideal for surge protective devices, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), smart meters, power distribution systems, and white goods applications requiring reliable overvoltage protection.
