描述

MOVTP14V465N is a thermally protected through-hole metal oxide varistor combining varistor and thermal fuse protection in a 14 mm disc package. It is rated for 465 Vac (615 Vdc) working voltage with a varistor voltage of 675 V at 1 mAdc and clamping voltage of 825 V at 8/20 µs surge. The device delivers 1240 J energy absorption at 50 A (10/1000 µs), 247 W rated power, and 0.6 A peak current (8/20 µs), with an impulse response time of 6000 µs and leakage current below 25 µA at 75% V1. Operating over -40°C to +105°C without derating, it features tin-plated leads, UL 1449 compliance, and RoHS/halogen-free construction. Typical applications include smart meters, surge protective devices, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power distribution systems, power supplies, and white goods requiring high-voltage surge protection.
