FAZ-D8/2-NA is a two-pole UL 489 DIN rail mountable miniature circuit breaker designed for branch circuit protection in industrial applications. This breaker features an 8A current rating with D-curve trip characteristic (10–20X IL), providing high short-circuit protection suitable for inductive loads and motor circuits. The device is rated for 10 kAIC at 277/480 Vac and incorporates thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection with a current-limiting design that provides fast short-circuit interruption and reduces let-through energy. The breaker includes a trip-free design that cannot be defeated by holding the handle in the ON position, captive screws for secure installation, and a contact position indicator (red/green). With a compact module width of 17.7 mm per pole and easy DIN rail installation, this breaker is ideal for protecting branch circuits in industrial control panels, machinery, and distribution systems where reliable overcurrent and short-circuit protection is essential.
