MLP662M050EA0A is an ultra long life aluminum electrolytic capacitor from Cornell Dubilier's Type MLP 85°C Flatpack series, designed for voltage holdup and filtering applications. This capacitor features a 6600 µF capacitance with a 50 Vdc rated voltage (63 Vdc surge), a maximum ESR of 62 mO at 120 Hz, and ripple current capability of 5.2 A at 85°C case temperature. The low-profile design with a 2.0-inch length (EA case code) and 42 g weight makes it ideal for space-constrained assemblies. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C with a capacitance tolerance of ±20%, it offers 2000 hours endurance life at full load at +85°C. Common applications include military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs, and computer cards where high-energy storage and long operational life are required.
