MLP201M420EA1A is an ultra-low-profile Type MLP 85°C FlatpackTM aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-voltage energy storage and filtering applications. This 200 µF capacitor is rated for 420 Vdc (530 Vdc surge) with a maximum ESR of 882 mO at 25°C (120 Hz) and delivers 1.4 A ripple current capability at 85°C case temperature (20 kHz). The capacitor features a compact 2.0-inch case length (EA code) with a maximum height of 0.50 inches, weighing 42 grams, and incorporates 18 AWG copper wire leads with 60/40 tin-lead solder. Its nearly hermetic welded seal design assures 50-year operational life at +45°C, and the flat top and bottom surfaces enable efficient heatsinking to double ripple current capability. The MLP is ideal for voltage holdup, filtering in military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs, and computer cards where compact form factor and long-term reliability are essential.
