153243 is a Brady B-618 thermal transfer printable matte white polyester label stock designed for applications requiring high-quality alphanumerics, barcodes, and graphics. The label features a total thickness of 0.0028 inch (0.0711 mm) with a substrate thickness of 0.0020 inch (0.0508 mm) and adhesive thickness of 0.0008 inch (0.0203 mm), utilizing a permanent acrylic adhesive. It offers excellent adhesion to stainless steel at 61 oz/inch (67 N/100 mm) after 24-hour dwell and withstands temperatures from -40°C to 180°C short-term, with humidity, UV light, salt fog, and weatherability resistance. The environmentally friendly film contains at least 25% recycled PET and is UL and cUL recognized when printed with Brady Series R4900 or R6000 Halogen Free ribbons. Common applications include topside labeling of printed circuit boards and rating plates where durability and print quality are essential.
