The LSP0600BJR-S is an LED shunt protector designed to maintain LED string functionality when individual LED elements fail open circuit. This electronic shunt device features a repetitive peak off-state voltage rating of 6 V, a breakover voltage range of 6 to 16 V, and an on-state voltage of 1.2 V maximum at 1 A current. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and is housed in a surface-mount SMB (DO-214AA) package with RoHS-compliant terminations. It exhibits fast switching characteristics with automatic reset capability, making it ideal for high-reliability LED lighting applications including LCD backlighting, transport lighting, avionics, and intrinsically safe lighting systems where continuous operation is critical.
