CSS2H-2512R-L500FE is a precision current sense resistor from Bourns' CSS2H-25/2 Series, designed for high-power current sensing and voltage division applications. The device features a nominal resistance of 0.5 mO with a power rating of 6 W at 70°C and 3 W at 130°C, utilizing an EB-welded metal strip construction with copper alloy C10200 terminals for excellent long-term stability and low thermal EMF. It exhibits a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±100 PPM/°C and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +170°C, with an inductance of less than 2 nH and resistance tolerance of ±1%. The resistor is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and AEC-Q200 qualified, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications including battery management systems, power modules, frequency converters, and automotive power distribution networks.
