The 2036-09-SM-RPLF-H is a high-temperature rated TRIGARD™ series gas discharge tube (GDT) surge protector designed for robust transient voltage suppression in harsh environments. This 3-electrode surface mount device features a compact 5 mm diameter package and operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with stable performance and low capacitance (< 2 pF at 1 MHz). The device exhibits a DC sparkover voltage of 90 V (±25%), impulse sparkover of 250 V at 100 V/µs and 550 V at 1000 V/µs, with an impulse transverse delay of less than 75 ns and nominal insulation resistance of 10¹° O. It can withstand nominal impulse discharge currents up to 20,000 A (8/20 µs) for 1 operation and 10,000 A for 10 operations, making it ideal for outdoor communications equipment and systems exposed to harsh environmental conditions requiring reliable surge protection.
