The 1746 is a high-quality general-purpose DC power supply manufactured by BK Precision, designed to deliver regulated DC voltage and current output for a wide range of electrical and electronics applications. It features continuously variable output from 0 to 16 volts DC with coarse and fine controls, and provides 0 to 10 amps of output current rated for continuous duty. The power supply incorporates a pre-regulator circuit that reduces internal power dissipation at low output voltages, exhibits excellent regulation and low ripple characteristics, and includes two large panel-mounted meters for continuous monitoring of output voltage and current. Two selectable current ranges (High: 0-10A and Low: 0-2A) provide excellent current settability and meter resolution, with automatic crossover between constant voltage and constant current modes.
