The 70233-116LF is a Metral® vertical header backplane connector designed for high-density interconnect applications in data, industrial, instrumentation, medical, and telecom markets. This 2-module, 4-row connector features a contact pitch of 2mm and achieves 250 contacts per 100mm connector length, providing exceptional signal density. It utilizes press-fit termination technology and incorporates varying pin lengths to enable first-mate, last-break capability, ensuring reliable sequential connection and design flexibility. The connector operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a current rating of 1A per contact and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000Vrms, meeting IEC 61076-4-104 and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. The modular and scalable design allows flexible connector lengths without loss of contact position, making it ideal for mezzanine applications and systems requiring high reliability and accurate PCB positioning.
