The assembly features an 8-wire cable with 4×2 twisted pair 26 AWG copper conductors, metal-wrapped pairs, and overall braid shielding, with PVC insulation and cable outer diameter of 6.30 to 7.20 mm. The connector utilizes copper alloy contacts plated with gold or palladium-nickel over 1.27 µm minimum nickel on the mating area, with a stainless steel nickel-plated shield and PBT glass-reinforced black housing. Electrical specifications include a current rating of 1.5 amperes, voltage rating of 50V AC rms or 60V DC, dielectric withstanding voltage of 500V DC, and insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum, with operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C.
