The 2242C-SL001 is a two-pair shielded control cable designed for low-voltage signal and power distribution in industrial control and communication applications. It features 18 AWG (16/30) tinned copper conductors with 0.016" PVC insulation walls, organized into two pairs (BLACK-RED and BLACK-WHITE) twisted at 5.3 twists/foot minimum, with an overall aluminum/mylar shield (25% overlap, foil facing out) and 20 AWG tinned copper drain wire. The cable is rated for 300 V RMS at 80 °C (UL AWM/STYLE 2464) or 75 °C (CM/CMG), operates from -20 °C to +80 °C, and exhibits a characteristic impedance of 49 O with a conductor DC resistance of 7.1 O/1000 ft at 20 °C.
