The 1899C-SL005 is a two-conductor twisted-pair cable assembly manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for general-purpose control and signal transmission applications. The cable features 16 AWG conductors (19/0117 stranding) with 0.016" nominal PVC insulation wall, twisted at 4.8 twists per foot minimum, and enclosed in a 0.020" nominal PVC jacket with slate color. It is rated for 300V RMS at 80°C per UL AWM/STYLE 2509 and CSA C(UL) TYPE CMG FT4 standards, with a temperature operating range of -20°C to +80°C. The cable exhibits a characteristic impedance of 59O, capacitance of 36 pF/ft at 1 kHz, and conductor DC resistance of 4.3O/1000ft at 20°C. This cable is ideal for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and low-voltage signal applications where reliable twisted-pair transmission and RoHS compliance are required.
