DESCRIPTION

The SCS600-4K is a smart current sensor designed to monitor and protect electrical loads up to 600 amperes in high-reliability aerospace systems. It features pin-configurable nominal load settings (200A, 300A, or 400A), reverse load detection capability, and an analog output for continuous load monitoring with a transfer function of V=(SensedLoad*Sensitivity)+0.63. The device operates on a primary power supply of +28VDC and includes overload trip response times ranging from 0.22 seconds at 1000% nominal load to 70 seconds at 200% nominal load, with reverse load trip detection between -1A and -20A. Environmental specifications include operation across -40°C to +85°C temperature range, compliance with DO-160G standards for shock, vibration, and EMI, and a maximum weight of 200 grams.
