DESCRIPTION

The 609-4031 is a 36-position military polarized ribbon cable connector manufactured by TE Connectivity for reliable interconnect solutions. This connector features a housing assembly with strain relief, constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated UL 94V-0, and utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with duplex plating (0.00076 inches gold on mating end, 0.00254-0.00508 inches tin on termination end, with 0.00127 inches nickel underplate). The connector accommodates 28-30 AWG solid or stranded PVC-insulated ribbon cable and mates with standard 0.100 x 0.100 inch DIP sockets. With a dimension A of 2.172 inches (55.17 mm) and dimension B of 55.17 mm, this connector is suitable for applications requiring robust military-grade polarization and secure board-to-board or wire-to-board connections in demanding environments.
