DESCRIPTION

8-55851-2 is a pre-insulated sealed terminal designed for secure wire termination on M4 studs, accommodating wire sizes of 16–14 AWG (1.04–2.62 mm²) with CMA ratings of 2,050–5,180. The terminal features a copper body with tin plating and polyolefin insulation that provides both moisture-proof sealing to prevent corrosion and visual examination capability through the color-coded heat-shrinkable sleeve. Key dimensional specifications include a maximum length of 30.94 mm, width of 7.87 mm, tongue material thickness of 0.86 mm, and maximum wire insulation diameter of 4.83 mm. The one-piece assembly design enables fast, easy terminations with firm mechanical crimp assurance for electrical integrity, and the product is recognized under the UL Component Program.
