DESCRIPTION

6469083-2 is a backplane connector designed for high-reliability signal transmission applications. It features a glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flame retardancy, with phosphor bronze contacts and shield. The mating area finish consists of 1.27 µm minimum gold over 1.27 µm minimum nickel, while the compliant pin area has 0.5 µm minimum matte tin over nickel base plating. The connector includes multiple signal rows (A through F) with dedicated ground rows (BG, DG, FG) where the three grounds in each column are commoned. With DIM M of 3.80 mm and finish option 3, this connector meets Telcordia GR-1217-CORE performance requirements for uncontrolled environments, making it suitable for telecommunications and data communication backplane applications.
