DESCRIPTION

The GX-F8B-P is a rectangular-shaped inductive proximity sensor with amplifier built-in, designed for reliable detection of metallic objects in industrial applications. This PNP output model features top sensing configuration with normally closed operation, delivering a maximum operating distance of 2.5 mm (0.098 in) and a stable sensing range of 0 to 2.1 mm (0 to 0.083 in). The sensor incorporates IP68G protective construction that prevents water and oil ingress, ensuring robust performance in harsh environments with shock resistance of 1,000 G and vibration resistance up to 500 Hz. With a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 V DC, maximum response frequency of 500 Hz, and current consumption of 15 mA or less, the GX-F8B-P is ideal for checking equipment operation, part feeder monitoring, and other compact molding and assembly applications requiring stable sensing performance.
