Micro switches or snap action switches are highly sensitive switches that respond to very small movements and can rapidly change from one contact position to the other. The SM series are generally used in aerospace, instrumentation, appliances, vending machines, timing devices and office equipment.
111SM2-T2 Snap Action Switch from Honeywell has N.O./N.C. switch configuration and Single Pole Double Throw circuitry for precise operation functionality. With an operating force of 1.95 N and a release force of 0.56 N, this Snap Action Switch delivers ample electrical capacity and has a long mechanical life. The compact and light weight SM series Snap Switches are used in many industrial and machinery applications to control electrical circuits.
