DESCRIPTION

M3786/36-0241 is a military-qualified multi-deck rotary switch from Grayhill's Series 53, 57, and 59 line, designed for applications requiring reliable switching with multiple contact positions. The switch features a compact 1.125" diameter body with 1/4 amp current capacity and gold-plated contact system compatible with logic circuitry, meeting MIL-DTL-3786/36 specifications. It incorporates a shaft and panel seal design with O-rings, stainless steel construction for durability, and silver alloy gold-plated rotor contacts with over 100 grams of contact force. The switch is rated for 10,000 cycles at various load conditions (up to 250 mA at 28 Vdc resistive or 150 mA at 115 Vac resistive), with rotational torque ranging from 20-80 in-ozs depending on deck and pole configuration. These switches are ideal for military, aerospace, and industrial control applications where environmental resistance (moisture, shock, vibration, thermal shock, salt spray) and reliable switching performance are critical requirements.
