DESCRIPTION

MJTP1230A is an ultra-compact 6mm surface-mount momentary tactile pushbutton switch featuring single pole-single throw configuration with excellent snap dome tactile feedback. The switch is constructed with a high-temperature nylon case, PET film cover with tin-plated brass bracket, silver-plated brass terminals, and phosphor bronze shorting contacts with silver plating. It delivers a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 250 VAC for 1 minute, with an electrical life of 100,000 cycles minimum. The device operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, features an actuation force of 160 grams ±30 grams, and exhibits contact bounce of less than 10 milliseconds. MJTP1230A is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices requiring reliable, compact switching with superior tactile feedback and long-term durability.
