DESCRIPTION

The 3048-YL005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and conductivity. It features a 28 AWG tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.016" PVC insulation wall, providing an overall diameter of 0.047 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 300 V RMS and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, meeting UL AWM/STYLE 1007 (80°C) and STYLE 1569 (105°C) standards, as well as CSA TR-64 and FT1 specifications. With a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs and a bend radius of 10× cable diameter, this wire is suitable for internal wiring in electronic equipment, control circuits, and general hookup applications where space and flexibility are important considerations.
