DESCRIPTION

The 609-1027ES is a low-profile pin header connector designed for ribbon and flat flex wire applications. It features 10 positions arranged in a 2.54 x 2.54 mm centerline matrix with vertical PCB mounting and a 4-sided shrouded housing in blue thermoplastic material rated UL 94V-0. The connector incorporates dual polarizing bars for mating polarization, ejection latches for secure connection, and gold-plated contacts over nickel with phosphor bronze contact material. The solder posts are tin-lead plated over nickel with a length of 2.60 mm, and the connector supports wave solder processes up to 265°C. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, polarized connections in compact spaces, such as data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and consumer electronics where space constraints and secure mating are critical.
