DESCRIPTION

The 1971862-2 is a female cable coupler designed for solar photovoltaic (PV) connectivity applications as part of TE's SOLARLOK system. It features a withstanding voltage of 1000 V DC and supports current ratings up to 35 A for 4.0 mm² wire and up to 40 A for 6.0 mm² wire, with a contact resistance of 0.25 mO typical. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +115°C and provides IP 68 protection when mated, with a diameter of 18.7 mm and housing dimensions of 62.5 mm (D) × 24.5 mm (W).
