DESCRIPTION

057-8683-100 is a VEAM CIR Series connector designed for reliable electrical interconnection in industrial applications. The connector supports multiple contact sizes ranging from 20 to 4/0 AWG, with current ratings from 7.5 A to 225 A depending on contact configuration. It features six service rating categories (I, A, D, E, B, C) with operating voltage ratings from 250 V DC at sea level for Service Rating I up to 4200 V DC for Service Rating C, and corresponding AC ratings from 200 V to 3000 V. The connector includes crimp contact arrangements with various insert configurations supporting contact quantities from 4 to 47 positions, and offers coupling torque specifications ranging from 1.7 Nm to 24 Nm depending on shell size. This versatile connector is widely used in aerospace, energy infrastructure, and transportation industries where high-reliability electrical connections are required.
