DESCRIPTION

MDL-V-25 is a time-delay glass tube fuse designed for circuit protection in low-voltage applications. It features a 1/4 x 1 1/4 inch (6.4 x 31.7 mm) physical size with nickel-plated brass endcaps and optional axial leads for board mounting. The fuse is rated for 25A at 32Vac with an AC interrupting rating of 1000 amps at 32Vac, a typical DC cold resistance of 0.01225 O, and a typical melting I²t of 15221 A²s. The time-delay characteristic provides protection against temporary overcurrents while responding to sustained faults, meeting UL standard 248-14 and CSA certification requirements. This fuse is commonly used in industrial control circuits, power distribution systems, and equipment requiring reliable overcurrent protection with delayed response characteristics.
