DESCRIPTION
WMC4S1K-F is an axial-lead polyester film/foil capacitor rated at 400 Vdc with a capacitance of 0.010 µF, designed for automatic insertion in printed circuit boards. The capacitor features a non-inductive film/foil construction with extended foil and polyester film sections, utilizing tinned copper-clad steel leads for reliable electrical connections. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C with full rated voltage at 85°C, derated linearly to 50% rated voltage at 125°C, and exhibits a dissipation factor of 0.75% maximum at 25°C and 1 kHz. The device has a body diameter of 0.250 inches (6.3 mm), length of 0.656 inches (16.7 mm), and lead diameter of 0.020 inches (5 mm), with a dV/dt pulse rating of 9600 V/µs for the 0.656–0.718 inch body length category at 400 Vdc. This miniature capacitor is ideal for high-pulse applications, automatic assembly processes, and circuits requiring compact, non-inductive energy storage with excellent high-frequency performance.
