DESCRIPTION

MLP771M150EA1A is a Type MLP 85°C FlatpackTM ultra-low-profile aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-energy storage and voltage holdup applications. This 770 µF capacitor is rated for 150 Vdc (180 Vdc surge) with a maximum ESR of 238 mO at 25°C (120 Hz) and supports a ripple current of 2.7 A at 85°C case temperature (20 kHz). The capacitor features a compact 2.0-inch length with a 0.50-inch maximum height, weighing 42 grams, and is housed in an aluminum case with 18 AWG copper leads. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and delivers up to 50 years of life at +45°C with a nearly hermetic welded seal. The MLP is ideal for military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs, and computer cards where space constraints and long-term reliability are critical, and its flat design allows for easy heatsinking to double ripple-current capability.
