The 8465-CHR-U500 is a 5-conductor 18 AWG electronic cable featuring tinned copper conductors with PVC insulation and outer jacket, designed for low-voltage analog signals, control circuits, and audio applications. The cable has a nominal outer diameter of 0.282 inches with a 0.033-inch jacket wall thickness, and each conductor is insulated with 0.0175-inch PVC. Electrically, it offers a nominal DC resistance of 6.3 Ohm/1000 ft, capacitance of 26 pF/ft, and supports a maximum recommended current of 4 amps per conductor at 25°C, with a UL voltage rating of 300 V and operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. The cable meets UL AWM 2598 and CMG specifications, complies with NEC Article 800, and is suitable for indoor applications including 4-20 mA analog signals, 0-10 V control, 24 V low-voltage control, line-level audio, voice communications, and panel wiring.
