DESCRIPTION

01002-8291 is a 2.5" solid shaft incremental encoder from the BEI Sensors H25 product line, designed for industrial applications in both ordinary and hazardous locations. It features EMI shielding, high precision ball bearings, and matched thermal coefficients on critical components for reliable operation. The encoder offers shock resistance up to 1000 m/s² and vibration resistance up to 300 m/s², with IP65 protection (IP66 with shaft seal option) and a storage temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. Output options include Line Driver or NPN Open Collector types, with standard resolutions ranging from 1000 to 10000 pulses per revolution. This encoder is well-suited for machine control and automation environments requiring high noise immunity and extensive electrical protection.
