DESCRIPTION

The 97-20-27P(431) is a standard cylindrical connector from the Amphenol 97 Series, designed for general-duty, non-environmental applications. It features a size 20 aluminum alloy shell with threaded coupling and houses the 20-27 insert arrangement, which provides 14 pin contacts of size 16. The contacts are silver-plated with pre-tinned solder cups, and the hard dielectric inserts are made of diallyl-phthalate. This connector operates over a temperature range of –55°C to +125°C. As a cost-effective and field-proven design, it is widely used in applications such as machine tools, robotics, and other commercial equipment where intermateability with existing 97 Series and SAE AS50151 connectors is required.
