DESCRIPTION

747872-8 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-type connector plug designed for reliable PCB interconnection applications. This shell size 2 connector features 15 contact positions with 4-40 threaded inserts and gold-plated (A plating code) brass pin contacts with nickel underplating. The connector has overall dimensions of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm) length and 1.312 inches (33.33 mm) width, with a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm). The steel shell is tin-plated, and the housing is constructed from 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic for flame resistance. This connector is ideal for industrial, instrumentation, and communication equipment requiring secure, high-density signal connections.
