DESCRIPTION

280385-2 is a shrouded PCB header designed for vertical mounting on circuit boards with 16 contact positions arranged in dual rows. The header features a 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline matrix spacing and includes detent windows for mating connector lock, ensuring secure connections. The mating post length is 6.60 mm with a solder post length of 3.50 mm, and the contacts are gold-plated brass for reliable electrical performance. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic glass-reinforced material with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and the device operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. This header is wave solder capable up to 265°C and is RoHS/ELV compliant, making it suitable for industrial and commercial PCB applications requiring robust interconnection solutions.
