The 2069838-5 is an LGA 1156 socket kit designed for Intel Core i7 processors, featuring a surface mount socket with solder ball contacts on a 0.914 mm × 0.914 mm grid. This kit includes an integrated lever mechanism (ILM) with stainless steel load plate and lever, one shoulder screw, two ILM screws, and a nickel-plated steel backplate assembly with polycarbonate insulator. The socket housing is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic (UL94V-0) with copper alloy contacts featuring gold plating on nickel underplating, providing low bulk contact resistance of 22 milliohms maximum average and insulation resistance of 800 milliohms minimum at 500 VDC.
