DESCRIPTION
The MCP9802A5T-M/OT is a high-accuracy digital temperature sensor that converts temperatures to a digital word via a 2-wire I2C/SMBus compatible interface. It operates over a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and measures temperatures across a range of -55°C to +125°C. The device features user-selectable 9-bit to 12-bit resolution, providing accuracy up to ±1°C from -10°C to +85°C. It consumes a typical operating current of 200 µA and includes a power-saving shutdown mode with a maximum current of 1 µA. This specific variant has a factory-set slave address of '101' and is suitable for a wide range of thermal management applications, including personal computers, servers, and general-purpose temperature monitoring.
